Summary:
The Financial Analyst II will be heavily involved in analyzing the performance of the business, serving as a business partner to plant leadership.
The primary focus of this role is to provide financial oversight to plant leadership which includes; budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, providing recommendations and action items to improve business performance and accounting for capital expenditures.
This position reports directly to the Director - Financial Planning & Analysis.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Acts as a business partner with plant leadership by providing accurate and timely reporting along with analytical and strategic support Prepares and assumes a leadership role in annual budgets and forecasts Prepares variance analysis with explanations along with potential actions to understand and improve business performance Prepares accurate and credible analyses with recommendations to leadership team to drive improvement in the business Establish, monitor and analyze key performance indicators Works closely with accounting team during month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely results Preparation of models to determine return on investment in support of both strategic and tactical objectives Preparation of cost studies to support commercial growth Perform ad-hoc reporting/analysis and special projects as requested The incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with the PTCA Quality Management System and its policies, procedures, and work instructions as applicable to the job or function being performed.
Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3-5 years relevant Accounting/Finance or Financial Planning and Analysis experience Oracle experience preferred Prior manufacturing experience preferred Number of Direct Reports:

Demonstrated ability to work independently or with a team and manage deliverables Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with other functional areas/levels within the organization Understanding of general accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis and internal controls Ability to make assumptions, identify trends and draw conclusions from ambiguous data Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills Ability to manage multiple assignments, use sound judgement and prioritize projects and time effectively with minimal supervision Demonstrated leadership and continuous improvement mind-set Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace change Strong skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; Hyperion and Oracle experience a plus Language Skills:

Typical office conditions at a manufacturing location This position requires 20-25% domestic travel to multiple manufacturing facilities Will be required to enter manufacturing area with required personal protective equipment when traveling Physical Demands:
