5 Quick Apply Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description Qualified Individual Disability Professional (QIDP) Day Program Qualified Individual Disability Professional (QIDP) Trainer, will train all Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to work with developmental disabilities and the overall maintenance of a facility.
Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in group home settings by overseeing individualized plans of care.
Work closely with the house supervisor to monitor the overall operation of the home by coordinating and training direct service staff Manage Team, program development and implementation, program documentation Will work closely with professional consultants to see that all evaluations are appropriately scheduled, are performed on a timely basis, and focus on the client's previous progress, realistic potential, and the facility's approved curriculum.
Responsible for conducting house tours, conduct direct care staff in-service education, participate in seminars and/or workshops, work closely with agency representatives, and assume administrative responsibilities.
Must be open to a flexible schedule to provide training in the Cila's on different shifts, days, evenings and weekends with Direct Support Professionals (DSP).
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's or Masters degree in a human service field and licensed as a QIDP through DHS.
