What We Offer Pay:
Base salary of $70K-$75K per year
generous commission package.
Potential of $100K-$130K per year with full package.
Great health insurance coverage including dental and vision 401K matching 10 paid holidays 3 weeks of PTO right out of the gate Sales Training and Professional Development Activities Who We're Looking For We are looking for an experienced Outside Sales Engineer to cover a territory from Southeast Chicago to Northwest Indiana.
The ideal candidate would have mechanical experience in the compressed air or HVAC industries, and would have experience with engineering a technical solution for their customers.
Responsibilities/Duties Lead Generation Generate additional leads on top of leads generated by the Business Development department through vicinity contacts, referrals and networking.
Lead Conversion Convert leads generated by the Business Development department by following a sales process that includes site visits, system assessments, quoting and closing of sales Project Management See through projects to completion including coordinating the installation (if that was part of the sale) Complete all paperwork associated with the project, including any utility rebate Follow-Up Follow-up is the key to successful sales procedures.
Follow-up of leads, follow-up of quotes Follow-up on completed projects Asking for referrals Data Entry Enter data into the Salesforce ERP System, including but not limited to:
appointments, tasks, quotes, sales orders & projects Job Type:
